Annually the Crockango angling club also hosts one of Southern Africa’s most prestigious angling tournaments, the “Crockango Angling Bonanza” This tournament brings together anglers from all over Namibia and neighboring countries.
Anglers are offered a prestigious camp site with a club house, bar and locally cooked food over a period of 4 days.

Entries usually close on the 15th of April.
Entries must consist of a Submitted Online Bonanza Entry Form, Submitted Online Camp booking form and proof of payment.
If all of the above requirements are met and entry has been accepted, a confirmation slip will be issued and
emailed to the team captain. This confirmation MUST be presented at the Bonanza with the boat inspection.
No boat will be inspected without the confirmation slip.
Entry fee for 2024: N$ 5 500 per team – Includes: Meal on prize giving – Excludes: Camping & Junior Subs
No angler or boat will be allowed on the Bonanza without a valid permit for the duration of
the competition. Permits can be ordered through Crockango Club, please fill in the Angling & Boat Permit Form.
Entry form Regulations:
- The Bonanza 2024 will be held from the 30th of April to 3rd of May. Captains meeting will be on the 29th of April.(Three and a half days of fishing) Prize Giving Ceremony will be on the 3rd of May.
- Venue: Camp Crockango (Please complete the Camp Booking Form)
- Entries close on 15 April 2024 – must be fully completed and fully paid on or before 15 April 2024.
Entries must consist of a completed Open Bonanza Entry Form 2024, Indemnity form 2024 (Submitted), Camp booking form 2024 and proof of payment.
If all of the above requirements are met, your entry will be completed and accepted. - Entry fee for 2024: N$5 500.00 per team. EXCLUDING CAMPING-Camping must be booked and paid for separately.
All RAN Members will receive a N$200.00 discount per member on the entry fee for members listed on the team only, this is not for junior subs listed. - Angling & Boat Permits: No angler or boat will be allowed on the Bonanza without a valid permit for the duration of the competition.
Permits can be ordered through Crockango Club, please fill in the Angling & Boat Permit Form. - Junior Subs: Junior must be 12 years or under. Junior do not need to fish every day of the competition but if junior is on the boat for a fishing day he/she must stay on the boat for the duration of the day. Junior subs fish caught will be added to the team’s points.
Team prizes will consist of 3 prizes per team, junior subs listed excluded.
Prize Giving dinner is included in entry for team members listed above, Junior subs excluded.
